You make a good point. Do you fight? I’m not saying it’s impossible, but it would have been hard for Sonnen to make the escape from that position. Did you see his rematch against Silva? Silva got him in the same position Jones did, but he got up! But was quickly put back down and finished in the same position. Chael is a GREAT fighter (and one of my favorites), but he’s not championship material :/ Plus, he wasn’t making much of an attempt to escape. I do agree that it was stopped early. But I didn’t see much hope for him anyway.
